The Record Panel will always make Mono recordings. Each FW track will have created it’s own named file in each take folder. These files can be stereo interleaved by running this script<\/a> to create a new stereo AIFF.<\/p>\n

-Open the Terminal window from Applications>Utilities>Terminal .<\/p>\n

-Open the take folder in a Finder window with your mono files and the script file
\ninside.<\/p>\n

-In the Terminal type cd followed by a space, then drag the title bar of the take
\nfolder (the folder icon at the top of the finder window) into the Terminal and hit
\nenter. This will set the path so that your new interleaved file gets printed to the
\nsame folder.<\/p>\n

-Drag the afinterleave script into the Terminal, then drag in your left file,
\nfollowed by your right file.<\/p>\n

-Type a space<\/p>\n

-Then type -o (that’s a hyphen and a lower case “o”)<\/p>\n

-Type another space and then type mynewfile.aiff (Call it whatever you want)<\/p>\n

-Hit enter. The new interleaved file should show up in that folder.<\/p>\n
